Biography
I first shocked the acting world in 1974 as a messenger in the long running soap opera The Doctors. AFTRA member from 1975, SAG member since 1978, I startled the commercial modeling industry beginning in 1995. Called by agents from New York to North Carolina, most of my work comes by word of mouth from satisfied clients!

TYPE
Imagine Bob Denver, Danny Kaye, Rick Moranis, Don Adams and Jerry Lewis all rolled into one, and you’ve got an idea of my general presence. I type best for humorous, larger-than-life roles, parodies, and children’s roles of all kinds. I type well for straight melodramatic roles, and both serious and comic character roles. Scores of corporate / industrial credits emphasize melodramatic roleplay, and mildly humorous demonstration / instruction roles.

STRENGTHS / CREDITS
Comedy / Slapstick / Children’s
My first love is comedy; I’ve never outgrown trying to outdo the comic legends of Abbott & Costello, Red Skelton, Dick Van Dyke and others I grew up watching. Few video clips; as credits are mostly theater. Representative roles include: Walter Middy (A Thurber Carnival), Cherdyakov (The Good Doctor), Russell Paxton (Lady In The Dark). Children’s include summer stock, elementary school tours and many children’s shows.

Industrial: dramatic / humorous / demonstration / educational / interview
Nearly 100 credits include all above types of industrial projects. Sample credits include:
Learning Corporation of America, Marriott Corporation, US Navy, Dr2Dr.com, Circuit City, American National Lawyers Insurance Reciprocal, Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles, Capital One Bank, Bon Secours Hospital System, AMF
Lots of teleprompter use here, which I prefer in nearly all instances.

Commercials (conflicts available on request) Sample credits include:
Busch Gardens, Circuit City, EF Hutton, Jiffy Lube, OdorEaters, Cardinal Drugstores, Saxon Shoes, Christian Broadcasting Network, Richmond Times Dispatch, Dick Strauss Ford

Print (conflicts available on request) Sample credits include:
Mademoiselle Magazine, Virginia Lottery, Greater Richmond Transit Company, Colonial Williamsburg, Alltel, Human Resource Magazine, SONY, S&K, National Soft Drink Association

Stand-In / Continuity / Featured Extra
Extensive background work encompassing over 30 films in 30+ years, plus television and commercials. Stand-in work in film and tv for well-known and not-so-well-known principal players. Continuity extra in film and tv, many in closed and small set environments.

WEAKNESSES
No authentic accents. A New Jersey native who has lived in Virginia for 20 years, I have a mild New York accent. Want crazy accents for comic purposes? No problem. Authentic accents or accurate dialects? No way!

No beefcake You want Arnold, get Arnold! Commando types, brawny security guards, rugged policemen are against type—so stop calling me for this stuff already!
